Crypto.com has appointed Michael Floros as General Manager of its Cyprus business, following its acquisition of CySEC-licensed AN Allnew Investments Ltd this year.

Floros previously served as Executive Director and General Manager at AN Allnew Investments Ltd for eight years, overseeing operations under the firm’s LegacyFX brand.

Following the Cyprus License

His appointment follows Crypto.com’s purchase of the Cyprus-based investment firm A.N. Allnew Investments Ltd, which operates under a Cyprus Investment Firm (CIF) license issued by the Cyprus Securities and Exchange Commission (CySEC).

“We aim to offer a broad range of financial instruments by providing Cross Border Investment & Ancillary Services across 27 Member States of the European Economic Area and Cyprus - operating under a Cyprus Investment Firm License, fully authorized by the Cyprus Securities and Exchange Commission, under the MiFID II regulatory framework,” Floros mentioned.

Crypto.com obtained a Markets in Financial Instruments Directive license through its acquisition of Cyprus-based A.N. Allnew Investments Ltd, the operator of the LegacyFX trading brand.

Expanding Offerings

The acquisition, approved by the CySEC, allowed Crypto.com to offer a broader range of regulated financial instruments—including securities, derivatives, and contracts for difference (CFDs)—to eligible users across the European Economic Area (EEA).

The MiFID license followed the company’s January 2025 acquisition of a Markets in Crypto-Assets license, which enabled it to passport cryptocurrency services throughout the EU. The two authorizations positioned Crypto.com to bridge traditional and digital asset markets under a unified European regulatory framework.

Elsewhere, Crypto.com recently onboarded Nicolò Pagliari as Global Vice President of Growth and Media, marking another high-profile departure from the traditional CFD brokerage space as crypto exchanges and proprietary trading firms continue to lure experienced financial executives.

Pagliari spent seven years at Danish investment bank Saxo Bank, most recently serving as Head of Marketing for Asia-Pacific. His move to the Singapore-based exchange added to a growing trend of talent migration between legacy brokers and digital asset platforms. In May, the exchange also hired former IG Group CEO Kevin Algeo as Senior Vice President (SVP) of Capital Markets.
