  • Quits rate 2.0% vs 2.1% prior
  • Layoffs 1.1% vs 1.0% prior
  • Hires rate 3.5% vs 3.4% prior

This is a nice rebound from the low number in March, though we're still near the lowest levels of the past two years. It's surprising that job openings rose in April, which was the peak of the Liberation Day fear.

The US dollar as bumped higher after this data point.
