On Wednesday, China’s Foreign Ministry urged the US to stop threats and blackmail.

“If US wants to solve issues through dialogue, it should stop exerting maximum pressure,” the Ministry added.

At the time of writing, AUD/USD is off the highs, still up 0.23% on the day, trading neat 0.6350.
