| EA Usage | Allowed (with restrictions) | EAs are permitted, but with prohibited strategies including tick scalping, martingale, reverse/latency/hedge arbitrage, and hedging across multiple accounts. Refer to the "Permitted Trading Styles" section for further clarification. |
| Overnight and Weekend Holding | Allowed | Both overnight and weekend holding are permitted. Be aware of increased liquidity during market rollover periods and close. Traders are responsible for adjusting their risk strategy during these times. No swap fees on DX Trade and Match Trader platforms. |
| Copy Trading | Restricted | Copying trades from a non-FTUK account to an FTUK account is allowed. Copying between multiple FTUK accounts is prohibited. |
| Trading Strategies | Some Allowed, Some Restricted | Martingale is allowed for manual trading but prohibited for EA/bot trading. Scalping is permitted (manual and EA/bot) with a 30-second minimum trade duration. Hedging is allowed within one account (manual and EA/bot) but prohibited across multiple accounts. Swing and intraday trading are permitted (manual and EA/bot). High Frequence Trading and Reverse/latency/hedge arbitrage are prohibited. |
| Inactivity | Not Allowed (30-day rule) | At least one trade must be placed and closed every 30 days. Failure to do so results in an automatic hard breach. For breaks between 30-90 days, contact FTUK to avoid account closure. |
| News Trading | Restricted | Trading within 5 minutes before and after major economic news releases is prohibited and may result in profit removal. No exceptions for Instant Funding accounts. |
| IP Address | Restricted | Using a fixed VPS or VPN is allowed, provided trades originate from the same IP address. Using multiple, diverse IP addresses or attempting to conceal IP addresses is prohibited. FTUK cannot provide services to residents of several countries, including North Korea, Iran, and Russia. |
| Prohibited Trading Practices/Gambling Policy | Not Allowed | Traders should use their own strategies and not rely on external signals. Trading must reflect real market conditions. Exploiting demo account conditions, arbitrage, front-running, jeopardizing FTUK's relationship with brokers, causing regulatory complications, using third-party services, using multiple/masked IPs, and copy trading/hedging across accounts are prohibited. Violations lead to program termination, profit share reduction, funded account denial, and an account ban. |
