EA Usage	Allowed (with restrictions)	Allowed on MT5 only, with pre-approval. Requires "Enable EA" at checkout and support team contact. Must be used consistently throughout phases. Using identical third-party EAs as others is risky. HFT and latency arbitrage are prohibited.
Overnight and Weekend Holding	Allowed (with exceptions)	Allowed for Pro Plan (Phase 1 & 2), Swing Plan, and One Plan. On Qualified Analyst Pro Accounts, it's a soft breach (profits removed). Swap fees apply where permitted.
Copy Trading	Allowed (with restrictions)	Allowed from external accounts with proof of ownership or between AlphaCapitalGroup accounts. Using an AlphaCapitalGroup account as Master is also allowed. Trading Strategies	Some Allowed, Some Restricted	Scalping is generally discouraged. Tick scalping and HFT are prohibited. Hedging is prohibited. Group hedging is prohibited. Average trade duration must be over 2 minutes, with at least 50% of requested profit from trades lasting longer than 2 minutes.
News Trading	Allowed (with restrictions)	Allowed on all assessments. On Qualified Trader Pro Plan, no trading 2 minutes before/after listed news. On Alpha One and Alpha Three Plans, no trading 5 minutes before/after. Restrictions apply to opening/closing all trades, including pending orders. Restrictions apply to various instruments based on the news. No trading during high-impact speeches.
IP Address/VPN/VPS	Allowed	VPN and VPS usage is permitted. Multiple IP addresses and devices are allowed, provided trading is conducted solely by the KYC-verified account holder. Group trading (multiple traders accessing the same account) is strictly prohibited.
Prohibited Trading Practices/Gambling Policy	Not Allowed	Prohibited: exploiting unrealistic prices/opportunities, latency trading, arbitrage, HFT, reverse trading, group hedging, account management services, order book spamming, and "all or nothing" trading. Gambling includes "all or nothing" strategies.
Trading Period	Unlimited	No time limits for reaching trading targets in each phase. No account expiration date. Traders can trade at their own pace during the evaluation.
Minimum Trading Days	Varies by Plan	Alpha Pro, Swing, and Three Plans: 3 minimum trading days each phase. Alpha One Plan: 1 minimum trading day for the evaluation phase. No maximum trading days.
Misc. Rules	Various	Qualified Analyst accounts have a $400,000 maximum allocation per trader and a $300,000 limit per strategy. Trading the same asset across multiple accounts exceeding the limit is prohibited. Correlated assets can be traded on separate accounts if trades are opened/closed at different times. Traders are responsible for their accounts. Services are not provided to several countries including but not limited to the US, Iran, Iraq, North Korea, and Russia.
