Ripple CEO Brad Garlinghouse has said that Bitcoin could reach $200,000 by the end of the year. He made the comment during an interview with Fox News. According to him, the new estimate is higher than his earlier prediction of $175,000.

Meanwhile, XRP is trading near a trendline support level. Intraday traders are waiting for a clearer signal before taking positions. The current price action has not provided a strong indication of the next move.

Garlinghouse Sees Bitcoin Rising on Regulation

Garlinghouse did not give a forecast for XRP. He cited his direct involvement with the project as the reason for not making such comments. However, he did speak broadly about the crypto market and Bitcoin.

He pointed out that the regulatory landscape in the U.S. appears to be changing. According to him, authorities may now be moving from a hostile stance to one that is more supportive of the crypto industry.
