Evaluation Rules

EA Usage	Allowed (with restrictions)	EAs are encouraged on MT4/MT5 but must have unique settings per trader. Prohibited EA activities include high-frequency trading, arbitrage, copy trading from others, hedging across accounts, tick scalping, grid trading, one-sided betting, account rolling, exploiting server errors or low-liquidity markets. EAs are not allowed on cTrader.
Overnight and Weekend Holding	Allowed (with exceptions)	Overnight holding is permitted across all accounts. Weekend holding is allowed except for Express Consistency accounts, which require closing all trades 15 minutes before the weekend market close to ensure accurate consistency calculations. Swap charges apply to overnight/weekend positions and impact the daily drawdown.
Copy Trading	Allowed (with heavy restrictions)	Copy trading is allowed only from accounts owned by the same individual, with the FundedNext account as the master. Copying from others, using identical EA settings that result in similar trades, or engaging in suspiciously similar trading patterns across accounts is prohibited. Account management and challenge-passing services are also forbidden. Violations may lead to warnings or account termination. Copy trading is unavailable for cTrader and DXTrade.
Trading Strategies	Some Allowed, Some Restricted	Martingale is permitted if used legitimately. High-frequency trading, tick scalping, quick strike methods, grid trading, and one-sided betting are prohibited. Hedging is allowed within a single account but not across multiple accounts.
Inactivity	Not Allowed (35-day rule)	Accounts are marked as failed if there's no activity for 35 consecutive days. To prevent this, log in or execute at least one trade within any 35-day period. Inactive accounts are permanently expired.
News Trading	Restricted (Express Model)	News trading is permitted on Evaluation, Stellar, and Stellar Lite challenges. On Express accounts (both challenge and funded), opening or closing trades 5 minutes before and after high-impact news events related to the traded pair is prohibited. Holding trades through news is allowed.
IP Address/VPN/VPS	Restrictions Apply	Using two primary devices (e.g., computer, phone) is recommended. Additional devices are allowed if owned by the trader. Public Wi-Fi or VPNs are permitted, but the IP must not be from a restricted country. Paid VPNs with consistent IPs and paid VPS with dedicated IPs are recommended. Several countries are restricted from using the platform, including the US, North Korea, and Vietnam.
Prohibited Trading Practices/Gambling Policy	Not Allowed	Prohibited practices include high-frequency trading, latency trading, hedging across accounts, arbitrage, tick scalping, grid trading, one-sided betting, account rolling, exploiting server errors or low liquidity, and gambling. Account sharing and hyperactivity (over 200 trades or 2000 server messages per day) are also prohibited.
Trading Period	Unlimited (most models)	Stellar and Express models have no time limit in the challenge phase. The Evaluation model has a 4-week cycle for Phase 1 and an 8-week cycle for Phase 2.
Minimum Trading Days	Varies by Model	Minimum trading days vary: Evaluation (5 days per phase), Express (10 days), Stellar 1-Step (2 days), Stellar 2-Step and Lite (5 days each phase). Funded accounts have no minimum trading day requirements.
Misc. Rules	Various	Trading sessions follow standard forex times, with exceptions for other asset classes. Using a Stop Loss is optional. Platform switching is allowed for new accounts without any trading history. Qualified Analyst accounts have maximum allocation limits ($400,000 per trader, $300,000 per strategy). Traders are responsible for managing their accounts and cannot share login information.
