Evaluation Rules

Rule Value Details
EA Usage Allowed (with restrictions) EAs/Bots are allowed, but HFT (trades lasting 15 seconds or less, tick scalping, spread scalping) is prohibited. Off-the-shelf, purchased, grid trading, and hedge trading EAs are not allowed. EAs can only scale-in once during a drawdown. Consultation with Funding Traders regarding EA/Bot eligibility is recommended.
Overnight and Weekend Holding Allowed Holding trades overnight and over the weekend is allowed. Be aware of potentially widened spreads at the daily rollover and Monday Asia open. Swap rates apply (except for non-swap accounts).
Copy Trading Allowed (with restrictions) Copy trading is permitted for managing multiple accounts belonging to the same user within the program. Internal copy trading between your own Funding Traders accounts is allowed. External copy trading from other brokers/firms into a Funding Traders account is allowed. Copying to other traders' accounts or sharing signals is prohibited. Manual copy trading is permitted for a single user managing multiple accounts.
Trading Strategies Some Allowed, Some Restricted Martingale systems are prohibited (maximum of one additional position on a losing trade idea, not larger than the initial position). Arbitrage trading is prohibited.
Inactivity Not Allowed (Funded Accounts) On funded accounts, at least one trade must be placed every 30 days. Failure to do so results in account termination without a refund or payout. This rule does not apply to evaluation accounts.
News Trading Allowed (with caution) News trading is allowed. Be aware of potential price gaps, wide spreads, and undefined slippage during high-impact news. Robust risk management is essential. While allowed, heavy reliance on news trading is discouraged due to potential execution differences between master and individual accounts.
IP Address/VPN/VPS Allowed Trading from multiple IP addresses is allowed. Traders are responsible for account security and should follow best practices.
