German DAX outperforms in Europe. Other indices near unchanged for the day
The German DAX rose by 0.56% in trading today and outpaced the other major indices in Europe.

As London/European traders exit for the day, US stocks maintain their gains:
- Dow Industrial Average up to 291 points or 0.68% at 43274.10
- S&P index up 36.40 points or 0.60% at 6128.31
- NASDAQ index up 118 points or 0.59% at 20093.01.
At session highs, the S&P index got within 15 points of its all-time high price reached in February. For the NASDAQ index its high price got within 89 points of its all-time high price reached back in December.
US rates remain lower ahead of the 7-year note auction at 1 PM:
- 2-year yield 3.745%, -3.3 basis points
- 5 year yield 3.828%, -3.0 basis points
- 10-year yield 4.278%, -1.4 basis points.
- 30-year yield 4.841%, -1.0 basis points.
Crude oil is up $1.30 or 2.0% at $66.22.
Bitcoin is trading above and below unchanged. The price is now below $340 at $107,059
