US March NAHB housing market index 39 vs 42 expected

- Single family 43 vs 46 prior
- Prospective buyers 24 vs 29 prior -- lowest since November 2023
- Sales expectations 47 vs 46 prior
This index fell to 42 from 47 in February but there is some help on the way with falling mortgage rates.
Regionally:
- Northeast 47 versus 48 last month
- Midwest 38 versus 43 last month
- South 39 versus 42 last month
- West 34 versus 35 last month
